Indiana School of Medicine-Lafayette Purdue Campus, two Clinical Assistant Professors of Medicine (002860-2013)
The Indiana University School of Medicine – Lafayette (IUSM-LF) on the Campus of Purdue University is searching for two persons to fill two half-time, 12-month Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine positions on its teaching faculty.
Requirements: Successful applicants will be primarily responsible for serving as course director of clinically oriented courses and participating in other Center teaching and administrative activities as a faculty member including, e.g., involvement in clinical skills training (history and physical exams), lecturing on diseases and other basic science material, development of problem-based and team-based learning exercises, and one-on-one mentoring with individual students. The IUSM plans to implement a new systems-based curriculum in 2014.
Qualifications: Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in a medical specialty or have advanced training in research and academic medicine, e.g., with a PhD degree.
