Job Title:                       Clinical Associate Professor of Management

Job Location:                Purdue University, West Lafayette campus, Krannert School of Management


The Krannert School of Management invites applications for a Clinical Associate Professor of Management.  The responsibilities include teaching up to 9 credit hours of management courses per academic year.  Opportunities to teach in the degree and non-degree executive programs may also be available.  Coordinating company-sponsored cross-functional and interdisciplinary consulting projects that offer experiential learning opportunities to students in the school of management, as well as students in Purdue STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) disciplines.  Development of a management consulting option area within the graduate management program.  Advising students pursuing careers in management consulting, establishing and supporting associated student organizations, and facilitating connections between the university and the consulting industry.

Basic Qualifications

PhD (or foreign educational equivalent) in Management or related plus at least one month of experience in a leadership position (i.e., partner or equivalent) in a major consulting firm or a senior executive position in industry; familiarity with the institutions supporting entrepreneurship and technology commercialization at comparable STEM universities (e.g., Offices of Technology Commercialization, Entrepreneurship Centers, or Research Parks).
