Assistant or Associate Professor Position Operations Management Group (002790-2012)

The Operations Management Group at the Krannert School of Management, Purdue University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate professor position starting in August 2013.

Requirements: We seek an outstanding candidate with a focused research interest in healthcare operations and supply chain. Applicants should demonstrate a strong methodological foundation in analytical or empirical modeling, strong domain knowledge in healthcare, and excellence in teaching.

Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or expect to complete their degree by fall 2013 in supply chain and operations management or a related area. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active and high-quality research agenda in healthcare related areas, teach courses in the area of Supply Chain & Operations Management at graduate and undergraduate levels, including working with doctoral students and participate in group, department, school, and university services.

The Operations Management Group at the Krannert School of Management has been consistently ranked high by the U.S. News & World Report.
