The Department of Physics at Purdue University (www.physics.purdeu.edu) seeks applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of theoretical biological physics. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in physics, biophysics or a related field, an outstanding record of research accomplishments, and potential for excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary and benefits are highly competitive. Candidates are expected to develop vigorous research programs, supervise graduate students, and teach undergraduate courses.
