Visiting Assistant Professor (002827-2013)

The Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences at Purdue University seeks a visiting assistant professor, to begin August 2013. This is an academic year appointment with the possibility of additional funding for summer teaching. The appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a Ph.D. in atmospheric or related sciences.

Requirements: The successful candidate will teach introductory courses for majors in areas such as the physics of climate, atmospheric thermodynamics and atmospheric dynamics as well as courses for non-majors.
