Qualifications: The School of Health Sciences in the College of Health and Human Sciences is expanding its educational and research programs in radiological health sciences particularly in the health physics area. We invite applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor. The successful candidate is expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program in health physics.
Requirements: Applicants with expertise in environmental, occupational, applied, reactor, or medical health physics are encouraged to apply. Candidates must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and at least two years of relevant postdoctoral research experience. Candidates who are board-certified or eligible for board certifications as a certified health physicist will be given preferential consideration. The position is competitive with regard to salary, start-up funds, and laboratory space.
