The Krannert School of Management invites applicants for a tenure-track appointment in marketing beginning Fall 2014. Rank is at either the assistant or associate professor level. Candidates with research and teaching expertise in big data and innovation are strongly preferred.
Qualifications: All candidates should have a PhD in marketing or a closely-related field. Candidates who expect to earn their PhD by Fall 2014 will be considered. Candidates for an assistant professor position should exhibit the capacity for research publishable in top-tier marketing journals and excellence in teaching. Candidates for an associate professor position should have an established record of excellence in research, teaching, and service. A tenured associate professor appointment is possible for a candidate with an established record of excellence in research, evidence of national and international visibility, excellence in teaching and service and evidence of participation in doctoral student research and mentoring. The successful candidate will teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, conduct research in their field of expertise, and participate in other school activities. We offer a competitive compensation package. A background check will be required for employment in the position.
