Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice, Purdue University College of Pharmacy in conjunction with The Department of Pharmacy Services Wishard-Eskenazi Health (002985-2013)
The Department of Pharmacy Practice, Purdue University College of Pharmacy in conjunction with Wishard-Eskenazi Health is recruiting a 12-month no tenure track faculty member with interests that integrate the provision of direct patient care (internal medicine) with teaching innovation and scholarship in an academic medical setting.
Qualifications: Required qualifications include a PharmD degree with residency/specialty residency/fellowship training, or equivalent experience. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in the State of Indiana. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience.
Requirements: The successful candidate will contribute to the learning, engagement, and scholarship missions of the Purdue University Department of Pharmacy Practice and Wishard-Eskenazi Health. This faculty member will be expected to serve as a clinical role model and preceptor, and provide effective didactic and experiential learning to professional degree students and pharmacy residents. Optimizing drug utilization, patient outcomes, and minimizing costs of medical care, along with participation in collaborative scholarship, direct patient care, and hospital committee involvement will be an expectations of the position Review of applications will begin March 1, 2014 and continue until the position is filled.
