Job Description

Aviation Technology is seeking one continuing lecturer position for flight operations. Flight operations is responsible for providing the flight, simulation, and ground instruction portions of the Professional Flight plan of study.  In addition, flight operations instructor pilots’ crew administrative support flights for university officials with qualified student copilots.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct flight instruction in the Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft
  • Conduct flight instruction in the Embraer Phenom 100 flight training device and CRJ 700 advanced training device.
  • Crew Administrative support flights for university travel needs
  • Teach ground schools for appropriate certification exams
  • Develop and promote a community of professional aviators with a global perspective
  • Be proactive in improving the diversity of the student body

Minimum Requirements

  • ATP preferred
  • FAA Second class medical
  • Current CFII
  • MEI preferred
  • Minimum 2,500 total time, 1000 PIC, 500 multi engine, 150 actual instrument, Jet experience preferred
  • E50P Type rating preferred
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • Garmin 1000 experience a plus
