003503-2016 - Continuing Lecturer/Flight Instructor 

Qualifications

Purdue University is seeking qualified candidates for a 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position as a continuing lecturer (full time flight instructor) in the School of Aviation & Transportation Technology.  

Requirements

Applicants must possess an earned Bachelor’s degree.  Applicants must also hold a current Flight Instructor Certificate with an Instrument Rating (CFII).  A third class medical is also required.

This position requires teaching of students in aircraft, assessment of student performance, conducting stage checks and supervising night flying activities.  Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Chief Flight Instructor.

The salary range is $45,000 to $55,000.  Benefits include retirement, health, disability, and life insurance plans.  A background check will be required for employment in this position.
