003473-2016 - Continuing Lecturer/Flight Instructor

The Purdue Polytechnic Institute is seeking qualified candidates for two 12-month, non-tenure track faculty positions as a Continuing Lecturer (Full Time Flight Instructor) in the School of Aviation & Transportation Technology. 

Applicants must possess an earned Bachelor’s degree.  Applicants must also hold a current Flight Instructor Certificate with an Instrument Rating (CFII).  A third class medical is also required.

This position requires instruction of students in aircraft, assessment of student performance, conducting stage checks and supervising night flying activities.  Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Chief Flight Instructor.

The salary range is $45,000 to $55,000.  Benefits include comprehensive health and retirement plans.  A background check will be required for employment in this position.
