Potential Issues

Floor tiles or mastic/insulation: Is it asbestos? If yes, has it been identified in your asbestos management plan? Paint: Is it peeling? Was this school constructed prior to 1978? Are there cluttered areas attracting pests or dust? Do you spray for pests in this area? Are food or beverages consumed in the library? Are the lights and computer equipment energy efficient? Is library cleaned often to minimize environmental asthma triggers?
