Processs
The Corrective Action Process
aims to identify, develop, and implement appropriate corrective measures
to protect human health and the environment at facilities where hazardous
wastes or pollutants are handled or managed. The purpose of CAP is
to guide facilities through the many governing authorities and laws
while providing an easy to follow path to proper and legal corrective
action. Menu items cover: interim & stabilization measures, a detailed
breakdown of the quality assurance plan, health & ecological assessment,
remediation technologies, public participation, an extensive guide
to statutory authorities, and a glossary and a bibliography of guidance
