Director of Admissions
Mitch Warren has worked in college admissions for nearly 30 years. He has served at three different institutions: Butler University, the University of Delaware, and since 1996 at Purdue. He serves as Director in the Office of Admissions where he supervises a team of more than 25 staff who are involved in student recruitment as well as admissions application review and decisions. Mitch chairs the Purdue Recruitment Council and serves on several University-wide committees. At the state level, he sits on the Indiana ACT State Council and has served on the Indiana ACT State Council Executive Committee and as Chair of the Council. He also has served on the Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling in numerous roles including: Educational Calendar Committee, Professional Development Committee, Executive Board, Secretary, Credentials Chair, and President. At the national level, Mitch has served the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) on the State and Regional Presidents' Council, Chief Delegate at the NACAC Assembly, and as a presenter at the NACAC Leadership Development Institute. He is also a regular “reader” for national scholarships at the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, New Jersey.
