The Office of the Registrar recognizes its crucial role in growing a robust future for Purdue University. We partner with departments to continually update technology and service for all areas of the Office of the Registrar, including academic scheduling and course registration, educational records, graduation, veteran affairs, classroom event scheduling, and information services. We seek to provide a flawless breadth of services for our customers as a result of the dynamic partnerships that we build. We are motivated to provide leadership in cultivating inventive student services so each student has the benefit of the best possible academic journey.
The mission of the Office of the Registrar is to provide continuously improving services through a dedicated and experienced staff, efficient processes, and emerging technologies that ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of all education records as they are defined under state and University laws and regulations and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). We work in collaboration with University departments in a manner based on the principles of collegiality, fairness, good stewardship, and a commitment to excellence. We provide innovative technology to support the function of the department. We also provide, accurate, timely and cost-effective services enforcing high standards related to course and student information, enrollment, registration, grade activity, academic and classroom event scheduling, veteran's affairs, graduation and academic records.
