Purdue University welcomes Dr. Frank Blalark as the University Registrar. Dr. Blalark leads a dynamic Office of the Registrar with a history of significant leadership in all operational, financial, personnel, policy and technology activities.
The appointment was effective November 1.
“I am grateful to the Purdue community for this great opportunity,” Dr. Blalark said. “I look forward to supporting the entire University and the Office of Enrollment Management vision of providing excellent service, leadership, coordination, and evaluation for pre-college preparation & outreach, recruitment, transition, and student success at Purdue University. I look forward to partnerships throughout Purdue and becoming a member of the Boilermaker family.”
Prior to his role as director in the office of the registrar at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, Dr. Blalark held positions at the University as an associate director in the registrar’s office and director in student services. He joined the University of Minnesota –Twin Cities after positions at South Dakota State University in admissions and University of St. Thomas in campus life. He has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from South Dakota State University and doctorate degree from University of Minnesota- Twin Cities.
