Whether it's old-fashioned volunteer work or service-learning, through which students apply skills they learn in the classroom to a community project, more than 70 percent of Purdue students spend time to help others. Other Purdue initiatives rely on the expertise of Purdue faculty and staff. The Office of Engagement facilitates many of these community connections, because being a good neighbor is important to Purdue.
