Welcome to the Campus Emergency Preparedness and Planning website. Our office is located within the Environmental Health and Public Safety Department. The intent of this website is to provide emergency planning information and assistance to the Purdue University family.
The Campus Emergency Preparedness and Planning Office was created in December 2006 to oversee the emergency preparedness and planning activities on Purdue University Campus. The office is tasked with the oversight of the University's All Hazards Integrated Emergency Management Plan which will be used in the event a natural disaster or a human-made incident strikes the campus.
Our goal is to provide a means to utilize all available resources to PREPARE for potential emergencies or disasters whenever possible and deal efficiently with the effects of inevitable events, RESPOND to save lives and protect property, and promote a means to RECOVER mission critical business and academic operations.
