Comprehensive Energy Master Plan (CEMP)

“The purpose of the CEMP is to investigate the energy production, distribution and building demand on the West Lafayette Campus. The investigation analyzed the chilled water, steam and electrical production at the utility plants, modeled the chilled water and steam distribution systems and estimated the energy savings potential in the campus buildings. The result of this analysis is a fiscally and environmentally responsible Comprehensive Energy Master Plan that provides Purdue guidance in managing the energy production and consumption on the campus as it continues to grow and evolve.” (excerpted from Burns & McDonnell’s “Comprehensive Energy Master Plan Report”)
