Workshop Objectives

This project seeks to enhance science education in Indiana by providing professional development opportunities for secondary teachers leading to:

• Increased knowledge of national/state standards
• Understanding of pedagogical practices with inquiry based science
• Understanding of the role of mathematics in science
• Support for participating educators through networking with peers
• Easier bridge between classic science content and applications in the real world
• Increased leadership skills for participating teachers
