Francisco named president-elect of American Chemical Society

Joseph S. Francisco, the William E. Moore Distinguished Professor of Chemistry, has been elected to serve as president of the American Chemical Society (ACS) in 2010.

He will succeed 2009 ACS president elect Dr. Thomas H. Lane, a Dow Corning director and 1974 Purdue chemistry undergraduate. <more>
