New Faculty Starting Fall 2006

Mike Baldwin, Assistant Professor. Mike is coming to us from the NOAA National Severe Storms Lab in Oklahoma, and expands our capabilities in synoptic-scale processes as part of our departmental focus on Climate and Extreme Weather (CLEW).

Hersh Gilbert, Assistant Professor. Hersh is coming to us from the University of Arizona, and expands our capabilities in seismology as part of our departmental focus on Geodynamics and Active Tectonics (GAT).

Eric Riggs, Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Center for Research and Engagement in Science and Mathematics Education (CRESME). Eric is coming to us from San Diego State University, and expands our capabilities in geoscience education research as part of the College of Science's strategic initiative in Science Education Research. http://www-rohan.sdsu.edu/~eriggs/
