Healthcare Data and Trends

• MEPSnet/Household Component (AHRQ)
  Provides easy access to nationally representative statistics of health care use, expenditures, sources of payment, and insurance coverage for the U.S. civilian noninstitutionalized population. MEPSnet/HC allows you to generate statistics using MEPS Household Component public use files.

• MEPSnet/Insurance Component (AHRQ)
  Provides easy access to national and state level statistics and trends about health insurance offered by private establishments and state and local governments. MEPSnet/IC guides you step-by-step in locating statistics of interest across all available years using data from the MEPS Insurance Component Summary Data Tables.

• RCHE Data (EndNote File)
  A selective bibliography of healthcare data sets available on the web or in the Purdue Libraries. After opening the file, double-click on the title to view the record. The linked URL is within the record.
• RCHE Trends (EndNote File)
  A selective bibliography of journal article citations, books, or websites providing information on the current state of healthcare engineering. After opening the file, double-click on the title to view the record. The linked URL is within the record. Many of the journals and books are in the Purdue Libraries.

  This is available through a Purdue Libraries subscription to StatRef! which also provides access to drug information and disease state resources.
• Medi-lexicon (formerly Pharma-lexicon)
  A dictionary of over 200,000 medical, pharmaceutical, biomedical & healthcare acronyms and abbreviations. Plus medical news and searches for the medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare professional.

  A new cross-searching search page from the National Center for Biomedical Information.

  A biomedical literature citations and abstracts from the National Library of Medicine

  Health information from the world's largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine.
