Working with Healthcare TAP's clinical, engineering and business experts, we examined the process of our endoscopy lab from all aspects. The redesigned clinical area should create a more patient-focused environment that will accommodate greater volume as we expand. By being exceedingly flexible and easy to work with, the HTAP consultants made the planning phase go smoothly for our hospital.

Getting Patients from A-Z
line

Navigating patients through the "system" is a huge challenge for many hospitals, from initial registration and scheduling, through the patient care process, to discharge.

We will work with your staff to define the "current state" and identify potential barriers. Utilizing engineering principles, such as time and motion studies, flow mapping and simulation modeling, we can develop recommendations for a more efficient process.

Leaning Toward Process Improvement
line

Healthcare systems across the country have begun to adopt Lean process improvement principles which are already widely used in the manufacturing community.

We can help clinical and administrative management determine if Lean Healthcare is right for your organization. We also provide a suite of Lean training options.

Safe and Sound
line

Prevention of adverse events is a key issue for hospitals and ambulatory care settings.

We can help your team proactively identify potential areas of risk and develop opportunities for improvement before adverse events occur.
