Learning

In the current condition of our world, nation, and the State, development of a homeland security education program is not only a prudent leadership strategy, but a program born out of necessity. We indeed live in a different world than we did before September 11, 2001. We are more aware of our vulnerabilities, more appreciative of our freedoms, and more understanding that we have a personal responsibility for the safety of our families, communities, state, and nation. It is for these reasons that the Purdue Homeland Security Institute is taking the initiative to bring homeland security education to the public.
