The development of The Rural Strategy for Excellence: A 2020 Vision for the Indiana Countryside (RISE 2020) draft report was achieved by the participation and input from numerous residents throughout Indiana . RISE 2020 is a strategic framework for building the future of rural Indiana in today's competitive global economy. To achieve the vision and implementation of RISE 2020, the support and leadership from numerous public, private, academic, and philanthropic initiatives across Indiana must be coordinated and engaged to ensure a high quality of life for those residents who call rural Indiana home.
