The Greater Lafayette Small Business Development Center is dedicated to growing Indiana’s economy by providing entrepreneurs with the education, information and tools to build and grow a successful business.

We serve as a
• Sounding board for business ideas
• Gateway to local and national business resources
• Guide in focusing on key issues and developing viable action plans
• Connection to networking, mentoring and training opportunities.

The Greater Lafayette Small Business Development Center began operating in 1990. Today, we are one of 11 Indiana centers based in chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, universities and units of government, and part of a national network of some 1,000 centers.

We receive both public and private funds; these come from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Indiana, local host Purdue University, and co-sponsor Purdue Research Foundation.

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Indiana, and our many local partners.
