This is essentially an executive summary of your business idea and concept. The following topics should be discussed and completed. The outline should give us a complete idea of what it is that you are proposing in a maximum of three pages. Bullets can be used in order to be concise and to the point.

Business Summary - This is a summary of your idea. A background of the company you are planning to form/have formed/etc and give a general idea of what your business is seeking to accomplish.

Technology Summary - This is an outline of the technology behind your idea if applicable - (This may also be an outline of how your service works if you are starting a service company). Basically, what we are looking for here is an idea of your competition, how you are different and what types of technology or strategy will you utilize in launching your business.

• What is your competitive advantage - (i.e. what is stopping other competitors from entering your area, how are you better than everyone else in the market)?
• Describe the need for your product or service - what are you bringing to the table?

Product/Service Summary - This is an outline of the actual product or service you will be selling and an in-depth description of what it is exactly that you are proposing to market and how you are going to go about designing or developing it. Also, please respond to the following:

• What price will your product service be sold at, and what is your expected cost? Include margins and profits as well. (Cost - Sales Price)
• Describe the financial performance you expect your product or service to generate and give us some idea about your expected income as applicable.
