The
Interns for Indiana program offers students a unique opportunity to learn about
the business world through a combination of education and experience.
Through a seminar series and other activities, students will explore entrepreneurial issues and skills, have opportunities to network and develop as a community, and earn academic credit each semester.
In addition, participating students will be eligible for placement in a paid internship with a start-up company. Internships are not required, nor are they guaranteed. Internships will be assigned based on availability, goodness of fit, and interest. Students who are selected and placed with a company will have the opportunity to receive a stipend of $1000 during the academic year program for a part-time internship and $4500 during the summer program for a full-time internship.
The program looks for students from all disciplines. Students should be of at least junior standing and have a GPA of 2.8 or above to be considered.
To be considered for this program, students in F-1 status must be eligible to apply for and be approved for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and students in J-1 status must be eligible to apply for and be approved for Academic Training (AT).
