Waste and wastewater disposal are two important concerns for a dairy farmer. The farmer has to meet sanitation standards both the milk inspector and maintain general herd health. Dairy cows can contract and transfer diseases through manure and milk if they are not handled of properly. This degree of sanitation requires the dairy farmer to clean his milking parlor after every milking. All this cleaning requires a large quantity of water. This wastewater has to be handled properly.
