Advanced Electrochemical Systems

Advanced electrochemical systems can significantly change the way we generate, store, and use energy. This group is in the process of developing long-lasting rechargeable batteries with an ultra-fast nanotechnology-base charging process. The group is also making significant advances in fuel cells with non-materials for electrodes and advanced polymer membranes. This research along with electric machines and power electronics work will significantly contribute to new hybrid vehicle designs.
