Biographical Sketch:
In 2005, Douglas J. Gotham was named the Director of the State Utility Forecasting Group at Purdue University, having been the Associate Director since 1998. He has worked for the group in various capacities since arriving at Purdue University in 1992, initially as a graduate research assistant before becoming a full-time research analyst in 1994. He is a member of the Indiana Wind Working Group (Policy Committee) and the Vectren Energy Efficiency Oversight Board.
After a six-year stint in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear operator, he attended Michigan Technological University, where he received a B.S.E.E. in 1992. He received his M.S.E.E. from Purdue University in 1993 and his Ph.D. in 1996.
