Clean Coal for Transportation Fuels Works, December 2, 2005

In conjunction with the Energy Center at Purdue, a workshop was held on this subject on December 2, 2005, at Purdue University. The following presentations were made at this workshop.

The CCTR Launching Workshop, August 18, 2004

The first workshop took place August 18, 2004, in Indianapolis. The objective of this workshop was to have an open platform discussion, among all coal stakeholders form around the state (government departments, public interest groups, companies, academia institutions) to obtain a consensus on the priorities in developing new technologies that can use Indiana coal in an environmentally and economically sound manner. Resulting from the break-out considered most beneficial to Indiana. In the opening session of the workshop two commissioned background papers were presented, one by the Indiana Geological Survey and another by the CCTR. These two papers ("Characterization of Indiana's Coal Resource:….", and "Expanding The Utilization of Indiana Coals") are available below:
