  • Indy Power Systems to Unveil Hybrid Technology
    27 Apr 2009 - An Indiana company says it is poised to capture a significant share of the electric car industry as it unveils new technology designed to improve the cost efficiency of vehicle batteries. Indy Power Systems is hosting an open house today at its Noblesville headquarters to demonstrate its Multi-Flex Energy Management System. President and Chief Executive Officer Steven Tolen says the device is the first-of-its-kind, combining energy from different types of power sources. Tolen tells Inside INdiana Business Host Gerry Dick a study from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation shows the vehicle battery market could be worth up to $1 billion by 2011 and $2 billion by 2015.
