Nomination Instructions
This award has been established to provide international recognition
for contributions to the area of hydrogen research in the areas of generation,
storage, utilization, and social implications. The award is to be made
to an individual in recognition of outstanding international technical
and/or policy leadership in hydrogen research and for consistently and
effectively illuminating the energy issues around the globe. The awardee
should have demonstrated such achievements over a sustained period of
several years. Further, candidates should be held in high esteem by peers
engaged in the important task of hydrogen research. Nominees may be from
any nation, but must be living at the time he/she is selected. Nominations
are made with a full letter of recommendation which includes a narrative
summary of about 1,000 words or less stating accomplishments in the field,
period of activity, and significance of achievements. A list of publications
and a brief chronological resume should also be included.
The deadline for receipt of nominations for the 2006 Award is
March 15th, 2006.
A plaque with citation, along with a monetary $5,000 cash award will be
presented at the first, Purdue Energy Center Hydrogen Initiative Symposium.
