Purdue University will host the 4th annual e-Enterprise Conference and the 7th annual CERIAS Information Security Symposium on March 20-22, 2006. Leaders from private industry, all levels of government, and academia will gather to discover current research progress on emerging technologies, learn different perspectives about current business challenges, and engage in new collaborative relationships.

The combined three-day event is sponsored and organized by the e-Enterprise Center at Discovery Park, the Center for Education and Research in Information Assurance and Security (CERIAS), the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering at Purdue, and the Purdue Homeland Security Institute.

“Delivering on Healthcare”
will begin Monday, March 20 and continue through Tuesday, March 21. It will include:
• Panels on current issues and challenges facing healthcare
• Reports on solution-generating projects conducted by collaborations between RCHE and its strategic partners
• Networking opportunites among healthcare, government, and academic attendees

"Delivering on Homeland Security" will also begin Monday, March 20 and continue through Tuesday, March 21. It will include:
• Academic Initiatives in Homeland Security
• Veterinary Safety and Security Issues
• Technology's Effect on Exercise Planning and Preparedness
• Networking Opportunities on Homeland Security Fields

"Negotiating Trust: Security Privacy Risk," CERIAS' 7th Annual Information Security Symposium will begin Tuesday morning and continue through Wednesday afternoon with a poster session, panels, and briefings on information security, assurance, and privacy topics, including three interdisciplinary research focus areas:
• Digital identity management
• Digital forensics
• Privacy
Guest speakers will address, in particular, the role of trust in two critical societal applications, healthcare and emergency management/public safety.

Two poster sessions will showcase the extraordinary breadth and depth of Purdue's research in support of healthcare delivery, homeland security and information security and assurance. Additional details can be found at these frequently updated sites:
