Learning

In the PLM space, learning is interdisciplinary. The PLM learning program will implement the following tripartite structure.

  1. A set of modules will establish a common basis of knowledge for participants with a diverse background.
  2. A set of core courses will focus on the development of the core material. They define the basic curriculum and will be staffed by faculty knowledgeable in the core material and well versed in its applications.
  3. A wide range of electives will migrate research results into the engagement and learning space and deepen the student's knowledge in particular areas of specialization. This connection to research will continually update practice and will deepen the understanding of the constantly evolving field.

PLM learning is a foundation for a skilled work force on which rests the economic well-being of the nation. It helps industry master the global challenges of the changing market place.
