The PLM Center of Excellence will engage industry

• by conducting case studies and best-practices projects,
• by hosting resident experts from corporations on campus,
• by providing internships for students and sabbaticals for faculty
• by offering continuing education, distance learning, training and workshops.

The Center will host an engagement laboratory for members to validate business processes and to test new strategies. A repository of lessons learned, the engagement laboratory will be the neutral advisor that will serve and assist industry to avoid costly mistakes, to explore innovative approaches, and to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
