Soledad O'Brien is an award-winning journalist, documentarian and former CNN news anchor. She is also an educator, mentor, and co-creator of a foundation to help disadvantaged young women get to and through college.
Chuck D is the leader and co-founder of the legendary rap group Public Enemy, the author of two critically acclaimed books, and a political activist, publisher, radio host, and producer.
Daymond John is the founder and CEO of FUBU and a television personality on ABC's "Shark Tank." He is well-known for his fashion and business expertise.
Her contributions to the public dialogue on issues such as race, culture, gender and their economic impacts are shaping public opinion in 21st century America.
Dr. Venetria Patton is director of African American Studies and Research Center and a professor of English at Purdue. Her teaching and research focus on African-American and diasporic women's literature.
