Mentor Responsibilities

As a DiversiKey mentor, you will:

• Complete diversity training through the Diversity Resource Office (DRO)
• Work with at least one student enrolled in the DiversiKey Certificate Program each year to develop a personal development plan
• Meet with his or her mentees on a regular basis in a group setting or one-on-one (at least once each semester)
• Make suggestions for the continued personal and interpersonal growth of his or her mentees
• Maintain regular communication with the DiversiKey Certificate Program director and the Diversity Resource Office

Please keep in mind that DiversiKey mentors need to remain objective and nonjudgmental in all interactions for the respect of diversity and the objectives of the DiversiKey Certificate Program.
