The Community facilitates collaboration
We are enhancing Purdue water-related research, extension, and education benefit by enhancing collaboration:
- Across disciplines - in order to address grand challenges, the Community bridges many disciplines
- Across methodologies - the Community integrates monitoring, modeling, and other methods to enhance outcomes
- Across scales - the Community values multiple scales that build whole systems knowledge
The Community enhances learning
We are training the next generation of professionals. Students, staff, and faculty broaden their views through participation in the Community. They are exposed to a diversity of aquatic systems and water issues, learning tools and methods beyond their chosen disciplines and gaining a wide appreciation of the field of water science and engineering.
