Rich Zink is responsible for developing evidence-based decision support tools, supporting communities of healthcare providers and researchers, and directing the RCHE Purdue Patient Safety Organization.   He has experience in numerous industries and has held roles in engineering, project management, and information technology.  He received undergraduate degrees in Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Kit Klutzke has over 20 years of professional information technology experience.  He joined the center in 2014, after serving eight years as data administrator to the Registrar’s Office and previously as a systems analyst for Caterpillar, Inc.  Kit strives to deliver quality IT solutions to the center and its constituents.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University.

Jennifer Hill

Jennifer joined the center in 2015 after working 6 years as a data manager with the Illinois State Water Survey at the University of Illinois. Jennifer’s areas of expertise are database development and the evaluation and implementation of data management solutions in a research setting. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dan Degnan

Dan Degnan officially joined RCHE in the fall of 2015 as a Clinical Research Associate with expertise and research interests in the areas of medication safety technology, advanced pharmacy automation, pharmacy operations and high reliability, working with RCHE and the Infusion Pump Informatics team.  Dan is currently the Senior Project Manager at the Purdue University College of Pharmacy’s Center for Medication Safety Advancement and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Purdue.  Prior to his role at Purdue, Dan served as the Medication Safety Officer at Community Health Network in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Dan received Bachelors and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees at Purdue University, also completing a specialty residency in pharmacy administration and a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy Administration at the University of Wisconsin.
