Faculty Leadership Team
RCHE’s mission is to mobilize the intellectual strengths of current and future Purdue faculty to collaboratively drive the interdisciplinary healthcare engineering research enterprise at Purdue University and beyond.
Our strength is our faculty and our interdisciplinary Faculty Leadership Team functions to coalesce, orchestrate, and drive healthcare engineering research to fundamentally advance the delivery of care. Purdue engineering programs enjoy national as well as international prominence and engineering is the foundation on which RCHE rests. Lasting solutions however, will not come from a single discipline and that is why the major engineering gear driving RCHE’s healthcare engineering enterprise is meshed with other exceptionally strong disciplines at Purdue. We seize on diverse areas of faculty capability to create an interlocking ecosystem transcending domains of expertise, focused on a singular goal - IMPACT.
RCHE views “healthcare engineering” as the collection and analysis of data that results in the generation of new tools, devices and analyses that will drive transformative improvements in healthcare delivery resulting in increased patient safety, and most importantly, significantly improved patient outcomes.
