Muscatatuck Indiana National Guard Base
Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels has made available the Muscatatuck Indiana National Guard facility, located some 60 miles southeast of Indianapolis, as a living laboratory and a test bed for training and research to better prepare our nation deal with catastrophic events. The site is comprised of some 1,000 acres of property and contains 68 major buildings. To create the human density component of the training environment, the training center will be populated through a combination of Indiana National Guardsmen, university students, low-risk prisoners, commercial business activities and other role players. The site will be instrumented to provide real-time tracking of players and major equipment item.
