Services for Researchers
Overview
The Oncological Sciences Center brings together a diverse core of faculty and their research programs to carry out advanced discovery, learning and engagement activities in the causes, prevention, and treatment of cancer as well as in the effective care of cancer patients.
The Center provides coordination and infrastructure necessary to generate and support multi-disciplinary and multi-investigator approaches to address the Services complexities of cancer across Purdue and the OSC's partnering institutions. By maintaining a database of OSC members and their research interests and expertise, OSC staff can effectively put together teams of researchers to bring innovative solutions to research problems to bear.
A broad-based vision, extensive infrastructure, proposal coordination and support are required to successfully respond to large scale funding opportunities. The OSC provides these essential elements to its member faculty.
