Creating Hope - Look Good Feel Good Health Fair

The Creating Hope event is part of the 2012 Cancer Culture and Community Colloquium (CCC). The CCC program features an annual Colloquium focused on the human response to cancer as expressed through literature and the visual and performing arts. The Colloquium features nationally renowned writers and provides a venue for interactions with Purdue students and faculty as well as members of the Greater Lafayette Community.
This year the guest artist is Will Reiser, script writer for the movie "50/50". Our vision this year is to have an educational event through the vision of artistry, with a Look Good ~ Feel Good Health Fair/Entertainment presenting Local Talent.
We will have booths set up for the “Look Good” part – includes, Mary Kay, Beauty Control, Salons with hair, wigs, eye brows, Spas, for relaxation, etc… and booths for the “Feel Good” part – having Yoga, Diet and Nutrition, School of Nursing, Health Wellness, Trails of Hope, Art of Life Café, Emma Paige Foundation, and more.
Also, having local talent perform, in their artistic expression; dance, singing, musically, improv, motivational speaker ,Purdue Goldancers, and more.
On display will be art work by Indiana Artists with Cancer on Canvas/Lilly Foundation, jewelry, basket work and more
