Director Peeta Moderates a Session at Purdue's Shell Energy Day

Director Peeta moderated a session, "Natural Gas and the Logistics of Changing Infrastructures," at Purdue's second annual Shell Energy Day on September 22, 2011. The day focused on the industry challenges, environmental impacts and student career opportunities in oil and natural gas exploration.
The session moderated by Dr. Peeta highlighted the potential for use and impacts of natural gas in the transportation sector in terms of both personal vehicles and freight. Featured speakers were Mark Lester, previous Executive Vice President for Exploration, Chesapeake Energy (retired) and Ian Craig, Business Development Advisor, Upstream Americas, Clean Energy and Innovation, Shell Exploration & Production.
