Ask the Staff Forum
Welcome to the "Ask the Staff" forum! Our goal with this forum is to increase the collaboration and communication among the Birck research community and the staff. This is a place to ask process questions, inquire about equipment, discuss safety issues and procedures, and bring up almost anything relative to working at the Birck Nanotechnology Center. We encourage you to use this new communication tool, and over time there should be many threads developing and evolving on a variety of topics. We would also encourage students and faculty to participate in the dialog in the forum, and add appropriate ideas and solutions as well. Resource Allocation Tool (RAT) System
The RAT is a scheduling tool designed to make your life easier. Purdue University schools and departments can use the RAT to allocate meeting rooms, computers, video equipment, or anything they deem appropriate. General users can use the RAT to find out when their department's resources are available for check out.
Control of scheduling is reserved for managers. General users should contact the appropriate administrator if they wish to reserve a resource. To have a resource reserved for you, choose your department from the box above. Next, you will need to use your Purdue Career Account Login and Password. Once you have authenticated you will be taken to your entity. Click the Request Reservation button on the left and the page where you can send a request for a reservation will come up.
