Research Impact Statement:
Our research group focuses on developing novel optical nanomaterials interfacing biomolecules. We investigate the fundamental interactions of nanomaterials with lasers and biomolecules, and use the observed phenomena for various applications including biomolecular engineering, diagnostics, therapeutics, and solar energy conversion.
