Research Interests:
Modeling and simulation of cross-disciplinary problems where electronic devices could find new applications. Interested in semiconductor device physics and reliability; application of nanoscale devices for energy storage (super-capacitors, batteries), conversion (Solar cells, fuel cells), and healthcare (biosensors); percolation theory and fractals.
Impact Statement & Explanation of Research:
Developed a comprehensive theoretical framework for the design consideration of nanoscale devices for biomolecule detection. Currently involved in extending the methodology to nanostructured electrochemical devices for possible applications in solar energy conversion and storage.
